The first “fun day” was a great success and Dragon Ridge was in excellent condition. We received top notch service and hospitality from all the staff!
A big thank you to Sherry Jackson, WSNGA Tournament Chair for organizing the event and to all the volunteers who helped out with registration and the brave “spotters” on troublesome holes to help speed up play.
The results of the Dragon Ridge Fun Day are linked below. Keep in mind 60 players who bought into the prize fund were split into 6 flights with 10 players in each flight. Flights were determined by course handicap and prizes were awarded for gross and net. Six places will be paid out in each flight (3 gross and 3 net). Congratulations to all the winners who braved the weather!!
When you review the scores keep in mind that some people quit and were DQ’d and other people paid their money but didn’t turn in a scorecard which resulted in their DQ. A “bank” will be set up showing winnings by name and will be available by the end of the week. Sherry Jackson will distribute the winnings at the SNV Sr Amateur, the SNV Amateur or any of the future fun days.
